Reporting to the enthuse marketing account team, the single barrel program manager,
Cascade hollow distillery will lead communication, drive performance, and manage execution of george dickel single barrel salesRole will oversee the socialization, recruitment, sales execution, and selection process of george dickel single barrels for diageo’s on and off premise network nationally.
Core responsibilities/ activities:
Client communicationProvide frequent and regular statuses on inventory, active orders, and program performance to program stakeholders
Logistics leadershipManage system of tracking inventory, samples, and order processing to drive program productivity and efficiency
Customer engagementDrive sales with key customers and host barrel selection sessions onsite at distilleryLead timely correspondence with customers directly or indirectly through distributor network
Performance managementDeliver performance against all program goals
Program socialization & promotionPresent single barrel ordering process and benefits
To client, distributor partners, agency teams, and customers to socialize program and
Encourage commercial opportunity
Brand partnershipPartner with distillery contacts, including brand gm/master distiller,
To identify and support all single barrel opportunitiesPartner with field marketing team to
Drive and support barrel opportunities with customers.
Insights gathering and routingCollect feedback from program stakeholders, review insights and drive optimization for continued program improvements
What success looks like:
Growth of total barrel sales vs py
Best-in-class customer service (high feedback ratings)
High rate of barrel reorders
High conversion-to-order rate vs samples distributed
Decreased open order length yoy
Qualifications and experience required:
College degree with focus on communications, marketing, business
Minimum 6-7 years of business or agency experience, preferably in the spirits/beer industry
Distillery experience is a plus
Proven strong customer relationship experience
Expert working knowledge of p & l and budget management
Knowledge of liquor regulations, rules, market trends and competition is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Persuasive selling and negotiation skills are required to develop and maintain strong relationships
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $100,000 and $120,000The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic locationThis job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
