EnglishScore is an EdTech venture which is scaling rapidly as it becomes the global test and certificate of English for employment. We are growing fast in the region, working with partners such as universities, government and employers. In this role you will help us research and initiate relationships with new customers. You will work closely with our Thailand Country Manager, Global Head of Marketing, and Regional Director, Asia.
The Role
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating new business opportunities, and organising qualified sales meetings for our Head of Business Development. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that our sales goals are met.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success in sales. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, we encourage you to apply.
Daily Tasks:
Lead Research:
- Meet the weekly required target of finding valid contact information for new prospects
- Research and validate contact information and details as requested, including online desk research and phone calls
Establish Contact:
- Contact stakeholders through email, calls and phone messages to arrange a meeting for the Country Manager
- Work with the Country Manager, Thailand to find creative ways to approach stakeholders and provide feedback
- Liaise with stakeholders to promote EnglishScore’s offering and proposition
Administrative and Marketing Support:
- Follow-up with prospects from marketing events / activities to generate booked meetings for the Country Manager
- Nurture existing contacts within the database to generate booked meetings for the Country Manager
- Provide administrative support to Country Manager, Thailand
About You
- Our ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 years of experience in sales-related activities.
- Experience working with universities or the higher education industry is preferable.
- Experience using a CRM tool (for example, HubSpot).
- You must be very organised.
- You must be tech-savvy.
- You are goals-driven and deadline-conscious.
- You have great verbal and written communication skills in both English (minimum EnglishScore 500) and Thai.
