About the role:
As a logistics account specialist i (las i) you’ll be essential to supporting our operations team and providing superior customer service to our clientsYou’ll use our transportation management system to monitor, track and update the status of our client’s freightThis entry-level role is critical to upholding our outstanding customer serviceIt’s certainly hard to work make sure we provide industry-leading on-time deliveryWe’re counting on you to maintain & uphold our reputation every day.

Daily tasks and responsibilities
Learning and utilizing elite’s proprietary freight management technology platform to support daily business operations.
Managing phone calls/emails/check-ins daily, effectively communicating details with internal and external stakeholders.
Overseeing assigned freight, from pickup to delivery, providing real-time information to all partners.
Resolving problems for carriers and clients using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Providing superior customer service to both carriers and clients.
Negotiating rates and securing drivers for freight.
Contributing to weekly team/company meetings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – we’re chatty folks!
Punctual – let’s be on time and get to it!
Quality customer service abilities – they’re not always right, but they’re always our customer.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Resilience – to move up at elite, you’ll need solid negotiation skills and the ability to get back up after hearing “no”Can you push through the setbacks?
Multi-tasking – ability to field a high call volume while also working on a computer.
