The primary function of the project manager is to ensure our design processes run seamlessly and smoothlyThe project manager will coordinate and oversee the design teams and all projects, that include a wide range of hospitality and residential projects spanning the us, europe, south america, and new zealandIn addition to assisting with design and development of projects, they will handle various administrative aspects of the day to day of the company`s projects from conception through construction and completed installation, including the distribution of tasks and weekly workflowThis position will work closely with the principal of twelve interiors, design teams and key internal managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
We are seeking a skillful project manager who also can create aesthetically beautiful spacesIn addition to specializing in high-end residential design, no12 interiors focuses on crafting hospitality and commercial spaces with a residential feel.
Manage two teams, one london based, and one us based, that will consist of designers and other support team members.
Oversee all aspects of design projects from inception to installation.
Draft floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, electrical plans, and detailed spec sheets in autocad.
Create and develop schematic designs.
Manage and execute presentations, including design concepts, space planning, architectural elements, color and fabric schemes and custom furniture pieces.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budget, and all related schedules.
Monitor project deliverables through order tracking and troubleshooting.
Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple high-end hospitality and residential design projects simultaneously.
Communicate and coordinate regularly with principal and to manage the development of deliverables at contract milestones throughout the design project process.
Act as liaison between client team, architects, contractors, vendors and fabricators to drive all projects forward in an efficient manner.
Record and issue detailed notes for all client meetings and site visits.
A minimum of 5 years experience in interior design and project management of high-end residential design.
Extensive knowledge of architecture and construction principles and processes, including the ability to read and navigate architectural and construction plans.
Knowledge and experience in specifying materials, plumbing, lighting, custom cabinetry and ff&e for residential design.
Proficiency in autocad or vectorworks.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, positively and productively with in-house team and clients both verbally and in writing.
Strong leadership skills with a positive “can-do” attitude that can manage multiple groups, keep teams motivated and assist with problem solving.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture.
Digital or hand rendering abilities.
A strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, and consistent follow through.
Strong verbal, written and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, capable of multitasking, prioritizing and consistently meeting deadlines.
Willingness to pitch in and “get the job done” beyond the scope of the job description.
Must be able to travel for site meetings and job installations, often in remote locations.
May require weekend and non-business hour meetings or site visits.
Must be able to work in diverse cultural workplaces and jobsites.
Must possess the ability to sit at a desk for extensive periods of time.
Valid driver’s license.
