Overview: national sales – transformer control cabinet nomos is seeking a national sales representative to develop and grow our power transformer’s control cabinet standardization solution for electrical utilitiesThis person will be responsible for selling nomos’ standard control cabinet products and solutions by identifying leads within north american electrical utilities, educating prospects on products through calls, trainings, and presentations, and providing existing customers with exceptional supportFocus will be on utility standardization and will include other end users such as industrials and renewables from distribution, to transmission, to generation.
The national sales representative needs a strong understanding of the utility market, excelling at generating leads and building relationshipsThe ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling wayOften tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our sales rep be personable and professionalResponsibilities:
Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding to identify how our solutions meet needs of electrical utilities.
Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
Develop and implement action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
Meet sales objectives through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities;
Identify appropriate prospects and manage sales cycle to develop new customers;
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct presentation and relay objection handling;
Assist team members to prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations;
Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following an defined selling process with potential customers
Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort
Performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Work closely with nass field services for replacement opportunities and coordinate with nass business & development team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
Proficiency with sales management

Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
