In this role you will be responsible for managing engineers and designers working primarily on a variety of brown field and revamp facilities including, but not limited to, refining, chemical, pharmaceutical, renewables, alternative energy and food & beverage industriesYour ability to collaborate both internally and externally, your passion to support the company`s project delivery and support across business development efforts will be highly valued at eichleayAs the team manager you will share your experiences and knowledge while mentoring and developing a versatile team of instrumentation & automations resourcesYou will ensure responsibilities are clearly understood within your team along with clear accountability of work and assignments.

Interacts regularly with clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and jurisdictional agencies
Manages resources at multiple sites, including limited technical oversight for seconded resources
Able to identify, communicate, and drive value creation through innovative engineering design
Serves as the technical specialist for the organization in the application of advanced concepts, principles, and methods in as assigned area
Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments
Provide specific discipline input into proposal development
Set clear expectations for budget/schedule/quality within their department and monitor/audit as needed to ensure expectations are being met
Review/check proposed project estimates, schedules, and deliverable commitments before submission to pm
Plans, schedules, or coordinates the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects or is responsible for an entire program of an organization
Reviews operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures
Receives administrative supervision with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
Leads project meetings and makes presentationsRepresents the organization and maintains liaison with individuals and related organizations
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 15 or more years of epc (engineering, procurement and construction) experience, including working experience inside an industrial site (field experience)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervising engineer on small to medium sized engineering design projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, interacts effectively with all levels of employees to achieve company and project goals and work seamlessly with peers to promote strong inter-discipline collaboration
Demonstrated ability and desire to oversee, manage, and grow a technical department
Ability to ensure people feel valued, appreciated, and included in discussions as appropriate
Ability to adhere to required processes and consistently deliver what they say they will deliver

Strong technical knowledge in relevant discipline field
Basic interest and understanding of process and/or mechanical systems, how they work and relate to our engineering designs
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.gIsa, nfpa, nec, api, asme and ansi)
Familiarity with industrial computer systems, motor control, plcs and dcss
Familiarity with gamp principles and cgmp pharmaceutical manufacturing
Knowledge of hazardous area requirements and certifications related to instrument installation including conduit and tray design
Ability to develop standards, procedures, protocols, project cost estimates, and task breakdowns
Ability to meet or exceed internal and external customer needs, build proactive customer relationships, and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty
Professional engineer (pe) certification
Management training certification
