You support edelman maker studios in more ways than oneAs post producer your role will consist of coordinating the day-to-day detail and logistics of post-production, often producing multiple projectsYou should be organized, hardworking, and easy to collaborate withYou love planning but can easily pivot when things change (as they always do)Flexibility is important!
The preferred candidate is in los angeles, this can be a remote opportunity for candidates in chicago or new york.

Job functions:
Function as a post producer for edelman maker studios, in the usReport to the executive producer.
You are required to manage all aspects of post-production on projects, typically involving: planning and scheduling of resources, client management, keeping track of scope/budget changes and ensuring the project comes in on time and on budget, while maintaining the highest quality of work and creative.
Work with ep on bidding, actualizing, and closing projects, report and send updates to ep.
Obtain bids from outside vendors and process po’s and invoices directly with accounting.
Champion the financial process and ensure the post production department stays within budget and on schedule, while maintaining the highest technical and creative standards.
Work closely with the ep and other producers on workflow from prepro through delivery to ensure edelman standards are metManage communications ensuring timelines and creative goals are met.
Maintain and grow a network of production vendors, producers, editors, assistants, animators, colorists, flame artists.
Streamline post processes and workflow
Ensure the progression of work to the client and studio’s satisfaction
Ensure all departments are aware of the post department’s requirements.
Requirements:
5 years of agency or post house experience in similar role
Reel or website with demonstrated project work; social/digital content focus
Driven, organized and self-motivated.
Great collaborator and can handle tough situations that come with postproduction.
Excellent communicator, written and verbal.
Strong understanding of the post-production workflow.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience in multi-tasking and problem solving.
Calm, considerate, and friendly.
