Location: home office based position
This opportunity is for a flexible, self-motivated and results-oriented individualYou will be responsible for providing technical support to projects across multiple service lines including remediation, sediment, potentially responsible parties (prp), and mergers & acquisitionsIf hired, you can expect to travel as needed, based on client needs.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Planning and participation in field programs and construction oversight Data analysis Feasibility studies/corrective measures studies development Remedial alternatives evaluation and remediation system design Cost estimation Development of engineering designs and bid specification packages Remediation system optimization, operation and maintenance Performance monitoring design and evaluation Permitting (rcra, air and npdes) Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management Reporting (work plans, remedial action plans, etc) Project and task management – planning and implementation of scope, schedule, budgeting.

Skills required for success in this role include:
B.sOr m.sDegree in engineering or related disciplineMinimum 8 years of direct experience in environmental consulting and engineering industryFamiliarity with federal and state environmental regulations and technical guidanceEnvironmental remediation and site assessment activities, with a focus on remedy selection, remedial action work plan development, remediation system design, operation and maintenance, performance monitoring, and presentation of findingsFamiliarity with federal and state environmental regulations and technical guidanceDesign and installation of remediation technologies such as groundwater recovery and treatment projects, soil vapor extraction, multi-phase extraction, air sparging/biosparging, in situ technologies, and monitored natural attenuation/nszdDesign of civil remedies for excavation, grading, storm water drainage management, and capping alternativesPreparation of rcra, npdes and air discharge permit applications, feasibility studies, corrective measures studies, work plans, remediation design drawings and specifications, as-built drawings, and performance monitoring reportsEffective contractor management to ensure safety, scope compliance and cost-effectivenessEffective technical writing skills, and knowledge/use of microsoft 365 softwareFamiliarity with autocad, arcgis, databases, etcPe certification preferred.
