Job description
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institutionWill also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in information technology with experience in .net
Preferred qualifications:
Experience of developing, enhancing and supporting application systems
Formulate and execute plan for recurring issues and incidents
Identify root cause and resolve highly complex issues
Monitor the testing and troubleshooting functionality of existing systems
Mentor team on technical and process competencies
Working experience in .net, c#, vb
Implement “go-live” activities and manage issues related to functionalities/user interfaces etc.
Conduct requirements gathering, design, development, testing and release activities per project requirements
Identify and implement opportunities for automation, elimination of manual support activities and system processes
Lead creation of knowledge base on process, domain and technology in the project
Respond to escalated incidents and ensure they are resolved per sla
Monitor jobs as a part of 24x7 rotation in a distributed support model
Experience in working with servicenow would be a plus
Excellent communication skills - good interpersonal and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and applying them in the real-world
