Docstation is a technology company and software platform that connects pharmacists and payers to improve patient outcomesWe’re looking for a self-motivated leader to join our team who shares our passion for transforming the $3 trillion healthcare industry.
About the role
As our first dedicated sales specialist focused on payers, you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and manage innovative sales initiatives for our current and prospective payers (health plans).
You’ll work primarily with health plans: medicare, medicaid, commercial, and other state/regional health plansWe’ll count on you to be their primary point of contact and trusted advocate.
You will work closely with the director of clinical programs and other members of the team to successfully execute contracts with health plansUnder general direction, other duties may be assigned, but specific duties include the following:
Sourcing qualified health plan leads
Conducting product demonstrations to potential and current customers
Following up with clients providing them with necessary information during the decision-making process
Executing baa and service agreements for new business, contract renewals, and business line expansions
Accountability for weekly, monthly, and quarterly kpi’s
Collaboration with account managers and customer success to transition new sales
Acquire a high-level competency in full offering of docstation’s products & services
Undertake necessary training to effectively present in new products or software enhancements
Travel (up to 15%)
3+ years of related b2b sales experience and/or training
Proven success achieving and surpassing quarterly quotas and kpis
Experience with health plans and payer sales
Demonstrates commitment to achieving docstation’s mission of increasing the role of pharmacists and improving patient health
