Job summary:: dine development corporation`s subsidiary, nova-dine, is looking for a talented young it professional to join our innovation team in developing solutions for our customers both in response to proposal efforts as well as developing real-world capabilities in our innovations lab environmentWe are a small team whose primary focus is to think outside the box to architect and thoroughly document solutions for known industry pain points as well as play around with leading-edge technology to develop customer proofs of concept and new capabilities for our company nova-dine is doing some really cool stuff that will be exciting on a daily basis and provide some awesome value to our customer baseJob duties and responsibilities: : primary job responsibilities:
Architecting solutions to fit our customers’ requirements and pain-points
Documenting these solutions in the form of a proposal response or white paper that we will submit to the government
Revising and reviewing these responses to ensure their awesomeness.
Building and testing these solutions in our proof of concept lab to further develop and prove them out
On a contract win, bring the proposed solutions to life with the operations team.
Other job duties that you will be doing will include but are not limited to:
Develop and document solutions for proposal responses that fit into the needs of the customer while being innovative and adding value for the long term
Help those solutions become reality once the contract is awarded
Work with and learn lots of different information technology bases and concepts
Work together with vendors to test and validate their technology
Develop proofs of concept for solutions to customer problems using leading edge technology and creative thinking
Never hear the phrase “thought leadership”
Turn buzz words into reality versus just repeatedly spouting amorphous baloney
Brainstorm with other talented individuals who love technology, helping people, sci-fi/fantasy genres, and building cool new stuff that has yet to become reality.
Work with an overall amazing team of folks who will have your back and work to enable you to do your best work and live your best life.
Job requirements (education/skills/experience)::
Is not afraid of putting their nose to the grindstone to bring a solution to life, including writing documentation such as detailed proposal responses and white-paper development.
Has experience or interest in a wide variety of technologies
Has a strong desire to learn and better themselves
Acts on that desire on a regular basis
Is not afraid to be wrong, and admit when they are wrong
Has had to come up with innovative solutions to problems before, whether the fix involved writing a script or using duct tape.
Is not afraid to challenge the norm and think outside the bun box
Can list the worst windows os’ without thinking about it too hard
May not know the layers of the osi model by heart, but if they google it they can tell you what each one does
Knows how to use their resources to find the solution to a problem they don’t personally have the knowledge to resolve
Doesn’t take themselves too seriously
Has the confidence to work independently, and the humility to know when to ask for help
Proof of covid19 vaccine or valid medical or religious exemption as mandated by executive order 14042
Selected applicant must be a us citizen
Knowledge of it services within the federal market.
2+ years of experience working in the it field, preferably in a systems or network administrator type of role
Broad understanding of how it systems work together to provide functionality
Understanding of how government proposals work, and how the shipley proposal process functions
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Must be able to work successfully under minimal supervision
Great at working with a team
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, post-secondary institution (or) equivalent experience
