Position title: srManager, design engineering, platform delivery

Your role
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to managing designs for customer deployments, colocation expansion, and standardsThis is on a local and global level when requiredThe positions will also be involved in corporate product design and engineering and process efficiencies for improved service delivery of colocation and platform delivery productsThe role will also serve as the primary liaison from the data center design engineering team when collaborating on new initiatives such as new expansion markets, new product development, existing product enhancements, etcThe position will be leaned upon to guide addressing data integrity and data alignmentThe candidate may oversee direct reports.
What you’ll do
Manage the facets of colocation customer orders, expansion, and standards(ie acad drawings, engineering packages, inventory management)
Be able to perform site due diligence and communicate technical requirements for a colocation fit-out or capacity augment.
Participate in creating or improve processes, procedures and systems that will improve delivery of products by the overall team.
Work on assignments that may be broader in nature that have deliverables addressing short term and long-term goals and objectives
Assist sales engineers with facility capacity inquiries regarding space, power and connectivity.
Be creative in developing solutions to address business needs while staying within industry best practices and local laws.
Ready to be called upon to address data integrity or data alignment issues
What you’ll need
B.sOr higher college degree related to technology, electrical or mechanical.
Minimum 6 years in telecommunications or data center environment with engineering or planning experience.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Must be a self-starter, proactive, flexible, able to work within deadlines, have skills to work in or lead a team environment, have organizational ability, be attentive to details and have strong analytical skills.
