Position summary:
We are seeking a talented, hands-on systems engineer to act as our point person for our corporate communications applications (ccx) teamAs the ccx technical lead, you will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining corporate communications applications like sharepoint, teams, and yammerYou will leverage your people skills to assist non-technical end-users in building internal applications on supported environments, your planning and analysis skills to direct work internally or to our external development and support partners, and your technical skills to support gaps in that relationshipYou will help develop our roadmap for corporate communication tools as well as act as the subject matter expert for our microsoft office portfolio.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Architect and build applications within the microsoft 365 platform such as sharepoint, microsoft teams, and the microsoft power platform
Provide advanced level support for microsoft 365 applications
Gather and document requirements for all delivered solutions
Partner with corporate communications to administer the company intranet
Required qualifications:
Knowledge of modern sharepoint development practices
Understand modern microsoft 365 iam best practices
3 years of microsoft 365 application administration experience
Preferred qualifications:
Power platform low-code development patterns and practices
Familiar with valo intranet, valo teamwork, and valo connect products
Familiar with extending microsoft 365 applications using the microsoft azure platform
Functional description:
Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies, and supports operating systems, databases, utilities, and internet/intranet-related tools.
Conducts systems programming and systems support activities, such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines and report generators.
Monitors effective language codes, processing routines, hardware use and use of database management techniques.
Modifies, maintains, and updates software, such as compilers, link editors, assemblers, oem utilities, jcl, macros, and subroutinesDevelops and reviews operator and control instructions.
Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software.
Conducts programming tasks including program design, program coding, debugging and documentation.
As directed, prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software.
