DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will join our engineering organization to work on systems collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing huge data sets. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to building cloud infrastructure for big data, artificial intelligence,  and other applications we maintain, performance tuning, monitoring, and benchmarking, identifying application and infrastructure bottlenecks in terms of performance, and coming up with solutions to fix the bottlenecks, support for weekly releases, building new QA, Staging, and Production environments, working with the development team, etc.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2-year experience with Cloud computing (AWS or GCLOUD)

• Minimum 2-year experience working with big data processing tools such as Apache Hadoop, Spark is a MUST

• Familiar with DevOps tools and DevOps support for agile development teams

• Experience with Linux OS

• Networking and infrastructure knowledge is a BIG PLUS

• Database tuning and caching experience is a BIG PLUS

• Experience in application performance benchmarking and identifying bottlenecks is a BIG PLUS

• Web applications security experience is a BIG PLUS

• Experience with Cloudflare and/or other caching and edge security solutions is a BIG PLUS

 Responsibilities

• Building, Integrating, and managing Big Data infrastructures (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)

• Building cloud server infrastructure for new applications deployments 

• Securing cloud-based infrastructures (Web applications firewall configuration and tuning, vulnerability monitoring and fixing, applying security patches)
