What you’ll achieve
As a service delivery engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvementYou will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.
Perform installation and implementation across high end storage solutions and san.
Provide hands-on implementation services for customers’ storage solutions per the specifications in the statement of work, scope document, architecture design document or project manager direction
Provide proactive recommendations to customers for improving their use of storage solutions to help maximize customer satisfaction with dell emc.
Assist emc technical peers with technical escalations and problem resolution
Provisions solutions based on standardized procedures as outlined by dell emc best practice documentation
Successfully manages relations with customers utilizing negotiation and influencing skills to acquire the internal and external resources necessary for optimal results.

8+ years of storage experience in a service delivery role with a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
Robust customer service skills, as well as, analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Implementation experience with dell emc storage products including powerstore, powerscale & san (brocade & cisco switches)
Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
Proven professional specialist certification in dell storage
Solid understanding and experience with tcp/ip networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies
