Delaware north is hiring a remote regional visual merchandising manager to join our corporate marketing team at our global headquarters based in buffalo, new yorkAs a remote regional visual merchandising manager, you will successfully drive brand loyalty by ensuring an exceptional customer experience through well-merchandised, visually engaging, brand-appropriate store environmentsThe remote regional visual merchandising manager will lead the field retail teams in developing strategies to deliver well-merchandised and visually engaging stores that meet the needs of the business as well as provide training, leadership, guidance to the merchandising teamsApproximately 40-60 percent of travel is required.

Vp’s of retail and retail manager partners with overarching visual merchandising strategy and floor plan decision making.
Works directly with vp retail, buying team, field retail leadership, and store teams to resolve store-specific merchandising challenges that require adaptations including the store size, store type, volume, spatial constraints, and inventory levels.
Communicate brand related information on weekly regional conference calls along with ensuring brand and visual merchandising consistency is upheld in the field.
Partner with field retail teams to develop solutions for optimizing assortment to maximize presentation and drive sales results; ensure consistency of visual merchandising tactics and ensure region compliance.
Solicit feedback regarding store presentation in stores and plan action accordingly.
Travel weekly and assess field opportunities in stores to measure the effectiveness of visual merchandising presentations; share ideas and feedback regularly with all member`s expectations.
Develop and execute visual merchandising training for field personnel that complies with the visual standards and company objectives.
Coach and develop retail managers/store teams to develop merchandising skills that enhance their sales resultsOf the visual team, brainstorm sessions, and/or store site visits.
Build constructive, effective relationships throughout the company to align support for all visual merchandising and brand initiatives.
Develop and nurture strong cross-functional partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Excellent presentation and merchandising skills with the ability to interpret brand direction and support high volume, multi-unit stores with a region.
Proven ability to facilitate visual presentation training and to work effectively with all levels of management.
Proven ability to work independently and remotely, exceptional organization and communication skills, solution-oriented.
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and personalities efficiently and effectively and demonstrate the ability to influence.
Detail-oriented, excellent time management with a strong sense of urgency and excellent communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Working knowledge and ability to use tools, fixture systems, lighting, props, mannequins with experience in the creative industry and a well-developed sense of fashion and trends.
Technical — fluency in microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint) and adobe creative suite (photoshop, illustrator, indesign).
Approximately 40-60% of travel is required.
6 or more years of management experience in visual merchandising, preferably with a leading brand in a multi-store capacity.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in fine art, design, or fashion merchandising; knowledge of autocad or revit is a plus.
