Role and responsibilities
Data systems of texas is a leading provider of software for the credit union industryWe are currently hiring a regional sales director/client account executiveThis is a hybrid position with inside and outside sales responsibilities.
Learn and stay up-to-date on sharetec product offering, pricing, sales strategies.
Respect your impact to company reputation and sustainability and your importance to the success of dsot overall.
Take direction and guidance from management and report weekly on “wins” and activities towards sales goals, both net new cu to sharetec contracts, as well as established client renewals and add on product sales.
Be willing to travel often to ensure all prospects’ and clients’ needs are met, and you are properly developing your territory.
Cold calling and emailing as well as working alongside a “lead acquirement specialist” and designing unique campaigns for net new prospects and client product sales/adoption.
Manage your sales territory effectively by moving prospects through a defined sales process.
Manage long (2-24 month) sales cycles, working with c-level executives.
Maintain all communication in company’s salesforce crm.
Strategic planning and implementation of all sales methods, processes, and tracking of all prospects’ needs in your territory.
Responsiveness to prospects and client account leaders via telephone, email, or in person to ensure the momentum of the sales process.
Continued review of our competitors within the market, reporting all new information on what you learn about each of them to other sales staff colleagues.
Act as relationship manager after net new customer conversion.
Represent data systems at industry tradeshows and local chapter meetings by connecting with new cu leaders and all current clients as possible attending the event.
Create and organize marketing collateral and proposals.
Create and achieve realistic personal sales goals with quarterly reporting to management with related efforts and alignment to company quarterly and annual goals.
Develop and maintain vendor partnerships and relationships for net new client leads.
Attend team meetings and regular sales meetings when necessary either in person or via phone.
Attend all net new core cu demonstrations and be able to prepare all necessary tools for the demo such as the agenda, handouts, pens, and arrange for lunch, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to aid in customer retention and develop strong references.
Manage your individual sales budget.
Contribute in planning and implementing marketing strategies.
Ncua prospect cu analysis, callahan & associate data base, and salesforce data entry.
Sales opportunity report review and ensuring status updates from the relationship manager are being performed timely based on sopBring oversights to the attention of the vp of sales.

Be willing to travel as needed to ensure all internal customer and external customer needs are met and you are properly developing our sales strategies for demonstrations.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, internal customers, partners and prospects to aid in customer retention, develop strong references, and create great impressions towards potential new customers.

Qualifications and education requirements
10+ years of core sales experience in the financial industry or account management or similar role is required.
Bs/ba is requiredMajor area of study in computer science, finance, or accounting are a plus.
