As an integral part of the climate solutions global account organization, the global account director will lead the account team of the assigned account driving adoption of danfoss product solutions delivering profitable growthActing as the main danfoss face towards the customer, you will be responsible for establishing and managing all strategic relations focused on delivering greater value while increasing customer satisfaction.
The global account director will report to the srVice president, climate solutions global accounts.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Lead a dedicated danfoss account management team supporting target customer.
Develop a deep understanding of the customer`s business objectives, pain points and competitive market goals and translate into a 5 yrStrategic global account plan and engagement strategy that leverages the danfoss value proposition while maximizing the opportunity potential with profitable growth.
Develop and execute annual revenue and gross margin targets aligned with the strategic plan.
Secure strategic alignment of the account opportunities and risk behaviors with all relevant danfoss lines of businessDrive regular internal stakeholder reviews on major customer initiatives, activities, progress updates and challenges.
Manage/lead activities globally through the danfoss matrix driving accountability of results with regional/country sales leaders and account managers across all principle key account locations.
Manage/lead the involvement of all relevant internal functions including segment marketing, application/technical support, product management and engineering to align with the account’s development roadmap and performance objectives.
Manage/lead critical account problem/issue resolution through internal coordination and communication with key stakeholders.
Ensure consistency in communication and a common danfoss voice across critical customer activities and initiatives maintaining cooperation at all levels of the customer.
Elevate relationships to a strategic level by developing and maintaining senior leadership danfoss-customer joint alignments at both the business unit and executive level.
Act as the customer`s trusted advisor and primary advocate within danfoss.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
Bachelor`s degree or higher in business, commerce or engineering.
Strong oral and written communication skills in english.
Strategic account planning and business case development experience.
Negotiation training and experience including commercial contracts.
Possess a solid understanding of p&l main drivers and key financial metrics.
7-10 yrsSales experience and/or customer business experience with a proven track record of delivering resultsHvac&r industry preferred.
Proven leadership of large complex customer relationships.
Experience managing global projects, direct and/or virtual support staff or programs with ability to influence/lead without authority.
Strong multi-cultural communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships at all levels (internally and externally).
Goal oriented mindset – motivated in building a long-term strategic customer relationship delivering profitable growth.
