Plant-based yogurt categoryOur india-inspired yogurt products are creating a new segment in the yogurt category, and we need the right national sales manager to help us support our massive growth plans.
The ideal candidate is someone who can be a true leader and ambassador for dahlicious and advocate for brand dah! to our customers, consumers, brokers, and distributor partners.
The dahlicious national sales manager is responsible for revenue and freight targets by securing new business, executing account plans, reduce costs with distributors and some regional account hq management responsibilityThe dahlicious nsm must have deep grocery and natural food experience as well as experience with our distribution network partners unfi, kehe and others.
The dahlicious nsm must be self-motivated, flexible and enjoy a “fast-pace” environment where creative solutions, relationship building and sheer drive to win is the formula for successIn return you will get the opportunity to directly report to an svp of sales and learn at a fast-pace while representing a brand that is on-trend and expected rapid growth.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Sales-account acquisition and management
Build and execute annual plans to select group of regional accounts (hq call)
Leverage distributor & dsd partnerships to meet new account acquisition goals
Assist with promotion planning & forecast (ppf)
Leverage broker account coverage responsibilities
Estimated time allocation: 35%
Distribution management:
Set up annual and monthly programs
Set up new items
Manage inventory to avoids out of stocks
Increase order lead-time
Reduce order frequency by increasing order size
Daily reporting of pos to ensure distributor fill rate targets are met
Communicate with distributors any delays, shorts or suggest opportunities
Manage liquidation opportunities
Estimated time allocation: 45%
Administrative duties
Attendance and participation in all scheduled sales calls and internal meetings
Submit weekly work logs including mileage
Submit accurate expense reports on time
Maintenance of assigned and created salesforce.com records
Other records or documentation as assigned

Minimum qualifications and experience
10 years minimum sales and sales management experience
Motivated, enthusiastic and positive
Must be a self-starter – have initiative
Team player with a can-do attitude
Good relationship builder with external broker partners, buyers, and retail store teams
Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Clear and concise verbal and written skills
Problem solving skills and desire to bring solutions to challenging business problems
Ability to grasp sales data, graphs and charts into actionable priorities
Ability to use microsoft office (word, powerpoint, and excel), internet browsers and web based customer relationship management (crm) tools

Performance of duties and tasks uses standard office equipmentValid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle is requiredAbility to lift 30 lbs.
