The it support specialist is the first line of support for our east coast branchesThis role will provide immediate, high quality support for end users across multiple branches until the west coast it team starts around 10:00 am estStart time would be 7:00/8:00 am est to 11:00 am /12:00 pm est and must be available to start taking calls and tickets at this timeRemote opportunities available!
Answer technical support phone calls, support tickets, and address user requests Ability to monitor and manage end user systems Installation and troubleshooting of hardware and peripheral components such as smartphones, monitors, keyboards, printers/scanners, cameras, audio/speakers, pcs, docking stations Provide user assistance as needed on operating systems, software and hardware usage and procedures Provide overall technical troubleshooting to pinpoint and resolve customer issues Compile and maintain documentation of systems and projects Manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues and escalate as needed Able to work with minimal supervision Troubleshoot issues with users in a timely manner.
Minimum of one year working in a technical operating capacity or a it related college degree Previous experience working on help desk tickets or desktop support preferred Customer service focus, both internally and externally Strong knowledge of computer technology and equipment Ability to communicate well with others Strong problem-solving abilities
