Evolver is seeking a well versed web developer to join our client team out of san franciscoEssential job duties and responsibilities: we have launched phase 1 of our newly branded enterprise websiteWe are seeking a web developer to join our team, be our resident expert by understanding all design, technical and infrastructure aspects our website, help drive and deliver phase 2, new design/builds, fix breaks, troubleshoot and build relationships with business, development, it and vendor teamsYou will drive all website efforts with vendor and development teams, build data automation, cloud and day to day website needsMinimum qualifications and requirements: qualifications
At least 5+ years of it experience with a concentration on web development, administration, and architecture
5+ years of hands-on experience with web hosting, content management development languages and frameworks including adobe aem sites and assets; html5, css3, javascript; web templating languages version control and branching strategies, code quality control tools; python programming stack and python for apis
5+ years in robust website and web application monitoring and performance across hosting and website portfolio
Project management experience executing design, build, enhancements with vendor, development, it and business teams
Relevant it experience in digital and cloud solutions
Investment management enterprise level experience is nice to have
Demonstrates strong writing and excellent oral communications skills
Possesses strong organizational and project management skills, resource management and attention to detail
Adapts to changing requirements and timelines
Aem sites & assets
Proficient in day cq / adobe aem foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as apache sling and apache felix, a solid understanding of all the related building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the adobe aem development and deployment process.
Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing / deployment, and delivery processes
Understanding and solid knowledge of adobe aem sites powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
Write application code and extensions for the day cq platform that exceeds the defined quality standards.
Strong working experience of writing high quality java code to develop any custom components for aem.
Deep understanding of and hands-on development experience with relevant `java cms` frameworks including apache sling for content-centric application development, jcr and jsr-170 / jsr-283 for content management, jsr-168 and apache felix for osgi bundle development.
Understanding and solid knowledge of adobe assets.
Front end/ui
Strong working experience of writing high quality code in html5, css3, javascript (es6 or above) and javascript frameworks/libraries (jquery, etc.), css preprocessing platforms (sass), responsive web design
Working experience with version control (git/bitbucket) and branching strategies, code quality control tools such as eslint, sonarEtc
Experience in working with any web templating languages such as htl/sightly, handlebars, jsx, jade ...etc
Experience in web accessibility, seo, web page performance tuning
Experience with javascript testing frameworks such as jest mocha, jasmine etc.
Python for apis:
Working experience with rest api using synchronous & asynchronous methods.
Have solid knowledge of python programming stack and a working experience of 3-4 years with python version 3.2 +
Write clean code with keeping testing in mind
Knowledge of openapi 2.0/3.0 and swagger api to follow a api based design approach.
Training and certifications (required and desired): education: bachelor`s degree required in web design, development or computer science
