The business intelligence analyst will contribute to consejosano’s mission by analyzing diverse data sources to create visualizations and communicate key insights to clientsThis role will assist the team in providing specialized services in data processing and reporting for clients across different business lines, enhance focus on assisting clients, and provide the right type of data and information to the right people in a timely manner.
This role will partner with our health operations team to drive business decisions and improve client delivery.
What you'll do
Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the health operations department
Help translate business requirements into technical specifications
Contribute to processes and workflows design that optimize each step of the data life cycle including, but not limited to data mining, data clean up, data exploration, data modeling and visualization
Create templates for community assessments and annual community analysis by analyzing and visualizing key insights
Collect and manage large data sets from multiple sources to develop reporting and data analysis capabilities, identifying insights and trends
Support data analysts through coaching, training, and mentorship in skill development and data analysis best practices
Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and building scripts that will make the data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity

The skills you'll need to be successful
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with tableau desktop and tableau server
Excellent data visualization skills with an ability to demonstrate examples from previous work
Intermediate knowledge of sql or python
Be a self-starter
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to tell a story with the data
3-4 years of relevant experience in a business analyst or data analyst role; previous experience in healthcare, health tech, or management consulting is a plus
Expertise in excel with an ability to write complex formulas and scripts to automate data analysis and clean-up
Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge of business analytical practices and methodologies
This position will report to the vice president of health operationsThis is a full-time position that can work in the office with options for remote work available.
