Lead .net application developer with mvc
100% remote
12+ months contract
Job details:
The lead application developer requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out resultsStrong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessaryThe job centers around developing new ideas, systems and technology, and also analyzing and improving on old onesA high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important.
Duties and responsibilities:
Design and develop applications with modern mvc design pattern frameworks, full stack .net development techniques and rest services that meet agfirst design standards for exceptional performance and reliability.
Develop network models, data flow diagrams, etcTo document and communicate application architecture
Ensure developers understand design, development, testing and deployment standards and review code for adherence to these standards.
Ensure security, disaster recover, auditing and compliance requirements are always being met.
Provide clear and accurate status updated to stakeholders and ensure product vision is clearly understood by developers
Proactively engage all team members for design, testing and deployment ideas and identify areas for application and process improvements.
Maintain existing systems in production by analyzing performance and taking action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with manager and business owner.
Manage deployment of application enhancements by coordinating dev integration testing, uat and production deployment.
Requirements:
Education and/or experience equivalent to an associate degree in computer science, data processing or related field.
5+ years of experience of .net application development.
Experience with full stack application development including html, javascript, c#, mvc design pattern frameworks, restful web services, sql databases and t-sql programming skills.
Strong analytic, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Experience with github, tfs, enterprise service bus, message brokers and devops preferred.
Strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to troubleshoot software application issues by making programming changes and modification to configuration.
Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in order to respond to support production software systems
