The system director of global logistics for commonspirit health is responsible for creating, initiating, leading and maintaining the logistics process for importing international goods and materialsEnsures optimal performance of supply chain, logistics, and field procurement activities for international operations while also managing the global sourcing budget.

Optimizes importation process of international goods focusing on time and cost
Manages both internal and external sales processes to maintain flow of materials in order to meet demand
Maintains awareness of overall commonspirit inventory strategies, procurement lead times and international notice periods regarding availability and securing of global carriers and agents
Accountable for performance to budget and key operational performance indicators
Develops key relationships with all participants in the logistics chain from importation to domestic distribution
Ensures compliance with established u.sAnd international standard operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures
Promotes improvement efforts throughout organization to streamline processes, optimize financial performance, and identify areas of general inefficiency
Ensures department goals and objectives help to carry out the organizations strategic plan
Bachelor’s degreemaster’s degree strongly preferred
Seven (7) years of experience in supply chain operations specifically in international logistics and importation
Direct experience working with international freight forwarders, steamship companies, cbp, ct-pat, and other key players in international logistics
Bilingual in english/mandarin
