Sales engineering manager

_responsibilities _ _ _ The sales engineering manager is responsible for the end-to-end process on distributed antenna systems (das) for the enterprise and public safety projectsPrimary responsibilities: designing of das and errcs systems using ibwave software, pre and post-sales support, system commissioning and technical support* * _ _
Lead pre-sales and post-sales activities in north american market
Support the design and implementation of commercial services and public safety idas and odas system solutions.
Identifies key technical issues and defines alternative approaches and resolutions.
Mentor engineers in the area of das design and system solutions, and hold regular team meeting
Grow team with top talent and foster productive culture teamwork, inclusion, and development through training and seminars
Evaluate customer requirements and deliver accurate scope of work and best in class services and support.
Evaluates and recommends system solution, design objectives, and risk mitigation as part of
Rfi/rfp bidding process
Advises senior management on industry trends, potential product improvements, marketing and other promotional opportunities in line with corporate objectives.
Serves as spokesperson to customers on company’s technical capabilities in the area of in-building wireless products and system solutions.
Represents company at professional technical forums, organizations, conferences and meetings.
Actively participates in design reviews and proposal evaluations.
Actively participates in new business activities.
Assist in conducting in-house, customer and partner training program
Support sales in the development and delivery of technical presentations and perform product demonstration at customer meetings and tradeshows.
Work closely with product manager to define product roadmap and perform competitor analysis
Work with marketing manager on case study, white papers, application notes and newsletter.

Engineering degree with emphasis on wireless communication (required)
Ibwave level 2 certification (required)
+8 years of experience in das design for the enterprise, public safety and carrier grade projects
Strong knowledge on passive components (antennas, splitters, couplers, etc.)
Experience on designing with main das equipment vendors (corning, commscope, cobham, solid, etc.)(certification is desired)
Experience on designing errcs (p25, npspac)(required)
Experience in technical sales (elaborating turn-key quotations, bill of materials and proposals)
Experience on turn-key projects (management and finance)(required)
Must be familiar with wireless technologies p25, tdma, cdma, evdo, gsm, w-cdma and lte
Familiar with microsoft office suite, specifically word and excel.
Must be disciplined to work independently
Must have good writing and oratory skills.
Must be familiar with the use of signal generators and spectrum analyzers
Must be able to carry test equipment and perform site surveys and system testing.
Perform coverage testing of commercial das, public safety systems and generate test reports
Accompany sales personnel to technical discussions and presentations
Provide pre-sales system designs and quotations
Capable to cultivate strong customer relationships with key clients and accounts
Data collection and data analysis on carrier networks is a plus (jdsu, zksam, tems, etc.)
Able to travel nationwide (required)
