About this role
The partnerships managers primary responsibility is to bring collegesprings programs to districts, schools, and nonprofits in your assigned territoryYou excel at cultivating and developing relationships with new partners and collaborate effectively with others in a matrixed organizationYou are a team player, and are driven by ambitious, measurable goalsYou are strategic and creative, and love to solve problemsYou have a strong attention to detail, are proactive with communication, and thrive when managing multiple sales opportunities at once.

This role reports to the head of partnerships and is a fully remote position that can be done anywhere in the u.s.
What youll do
Generate new partnerships with schools and districts to help drive collegesprings expansion into new markets
Prospect and close new partnerships with districts, schools, and local nonprofits
Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota
Actively build and manage your sales pipeline, and document activity through real-time use of crm (salesforce)
Generate new leads through outbound outreach, and conduct 20+ virtual meetings monthly with school and district leaders
Secure and expand new pilot programs
Creatively work with school and district leaders to match their needs to collegespring solutions
Present recommended solutions and generate associated proposals, contracts, and rfp responses
Build relationships that lead to positive partner outcomes
For context, the partnerships team works with our two programmatic teams (programs and impact and partner success, who design and implement our programs.)
Create a large portfolio of new clients and develop relationships where collegespring is seen as a trusted thought partner, and not just a service provider.
Collaborate with the partner success team for seamless handoffs and pilot expansions.
Work closely with the head of partnerships to support strategic initiatives, new opportunities, and ongoing projects.
Communicate with the programs and impact team on joint priorities, including data analysis and training.

Qualifications and skills
You`ll be successful in this role if
2 - 3+ years of sales experience requiredPrior partnership development experience with school districts and public schools preferred.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
You are proficient in the use of a crm to document actions and plan for sales success (experience with salesforce preferred).
You are a self-starter who can successfully qualify and convert opportunities through a documented sales process.
You have excellent prospecting skillsYou love the prospecting challenge and can stand out in a crowd.
You are innately curious, have strong listening skills, ask meaningful questions to understand partner needs, and individualize your approach across different partners and stakeholders.
You are skilled in building a web of relationships within schools, systems, and communities, from systems leaders to teachers, in service of enhancing partnerships at all levels.
You know how to establish trust and build authentic relationships quickly in ways that engage, build advocates and drive action.
You navigate bureaucratic environments masterfully, being consistent and persistent while balancing our relationship with stakeholders with the needs of the organization.
Excellent time management and organizational skills; high level of attention to detail; commitment to ensuring accuracy of data and information.
You can seamlessly navigate a matrixed organization, and like a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
