The vice president, solutions engineering is responsible for the overall design of customer engagements across a variety of technological capabilitiesThey will be an innovator, a visionary, a communicator, and an optimistic conveyer of what is possibleThey will serve as the guiding solution engineer for large and critical business development activities while leading a team of solution architects.

Develop current and future state architectures that advance customer experiences, organizational excellence, and brand growth Make recommendations regarding strategic architectural considerations related to technology direction and standards Meet with and understand our customers, evolve our solutions, relentlessly learn current and emerging technologies, follow market forces, optimize pricing impacts, and define creative delivery approaches; all while guaranteeing successful innovation for customers Understand business models, including processes, application architectures, and supporting systems to define and design solutions that will work within the enterprise environment and satisfy the business requirements Develop and design technical artifacts that describe the structure, characteristics, behavior, workflow, and other aspects of the solution to project stakeholdersThese must be visual (diagrams) and written. Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science/information and telecommunications system management or related degree 5+ years in solution development, 10+ years preferred. 2+ years designing, developing, delivering, and/or documenting solutions for the public sector to include federal, state, and/or local Measurable wins for solutions you designed, documented, and/or delivered Years of experience can substitute for education.

Experience in cloud architecture (amazon, microsoft, google, and/or ibm), data processing systems, database systems, and web services Experience with data center operations, optimizations, standup, decommissioning, migration to cloud, etc. Understanding and experience in design and development of enterprise architecture, principles, practices and standards as they relate to the federal enterprise architecture Experience with fedramp solutions Experience with crm and workflow platforms Experience with multiple federal agencies or multiple state governments.
