We are looking for an experienced sales engineer, preferably with some background in identity access management, api security or cloud infrastructureWe are a small company about to experience some exciting growth and a talented sales engineer is on our short list for immediate hire.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or engineering
Have hands on experience using any of the following security products: identity and access management, api gateway, waf, siems, ids/ips, orchestration products, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or privacy solutions
Be familiar with restful web services and know how to use clients to authenticate and test apis to integrate with a variety of services
3-5 years’ proven working experience as a software engineer or archtect
Comfortable demonstrating security or infratructure based solutions to clients
Ability to conduct technical discovery, document requirements and specifications
Knowledge of modern cloud design patterns and platforms
Comfortable working with sales, channel, products, and delivery
About your day to day:
Present cloudentity products or services to clients and prospects
Plan detailed presentations and demos that show clients product info, fit to use case and technical benefits
Develop products or program suggestions for clients and successfully assist positioning them
Support the customer success team, when so required
Responsible for being the the field sales based technical authority on product, direction, enhancements, partners and competitors
Provide competitive analysis during sales cycle
Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 70% of the time, depending on the position and sales role
Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Previous experience in business-to-business (b2b) sales
Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Computer proficiency and the ability to accurately enter data and generate reports
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
