Collaborate with sr manager of planning and operation teams to establish an accurate 18 month supply plan at the mill/asset level on a monthly basis (master plan)
Provide analysis to challenge supply plan
Collaborate with supply chain to establish appropriate run rates, machine and materials constraints and master data configuration to support the business requirements
Identifies converting units and paper machines that are over or under capacity and recommends appropriate action to keep production in balance with expected needs.
Develop and maintain key reports used in forecasting process
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and systems
Utilize vcp system to build annual production volume budget
2Sales and operations planning support
Facilitate monthly meetings, as designated in the sales and operations planning process; leading to sign off of the regional level outlook by s&op, manufacturing, sales, and finance
Collaborate in monthly meetings with planning teams to communicate longer term plans that feed into the master scheduling process (master plan to master schedule)
Partner with and coordinate activity across the sales, manufacturing and distribution network to ensure overall success in implementing plans
Provide support to sales and operations planning process as the key resource for production and inventory data
Coordinate the successful business development, maintenance, and usage of the value chain planning systems (vcp).
Develop and manage supply reports to track key performance indicators (kpis)
Drive best in class inventory planning through process improvements and kpis
Develop, implement and monitor safety stock and inventory targets for finished goods cases, paper and packaging in order to meet customer demand
Optimize our inventory position and minimizing obsolescence
4Supply chain support
Facilitate communication between operations and supply chain in support of major s&op initiatives
Understand and communicate supply and demand impact on capacity
Provide input to sales/manufacturing/scheduling to resolve issues, improve systems, and meet business objectives

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, statistics, finance, supply chain, or related field
Master’s degree preferred
+4 years of related experience

Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong understanding of core supply management process and understanding of kpis
