Full job description
We are looking for a proactive, open minded, well organized, and customer focused senior storage it professional to support very large enterprise san infrastructure across multiple data centers.
Will be responsible for the engineering support work of block storage systems, fc fabric switches, and various other storage components in order to ensure system/data availability for business.
Will work with various technology solutions including, but not limited to dell emc, infinidat, cisco and netapp.
Will monitor capacity levels, critical kpis and trend analysis to ensure a healthy environment.
Improve operational efficiencies with repeatable procedures & automation.
Will assist in diagnosis (root cause analysis) to correct problems, security findings patching, and providing data for sox audits.
Execute change requests for products in compliance with change management policies.
Required skills:
Strong team mentor and communicator
Strong knowledge of supporting dell emc, netapp, infinidat and cisco mds technologies
Strong knowledge of storage concepts, security, troubleshooting, and hardware
Strong documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, and support documentation
Knowledge of enterprise class data centers, day-day support, reporting, monitoring, disaster recovery, code currency upgrades, security patching, hardware refreshes, and design concepts
Knowledge with scripting tools such as python, powershell, or javascript and automation with ansible or vmware vro to improve it efficiencies
Knowledge or hands-on experience with disaster recovery products
Knowledge with sox audits processes
Knowledge of windows & linux server os in physical & virtual environments, vmware, hyper-v, microsoft sql server, and oracle database
Knowledge of itsm and change management tools prefer servicenow
Ability to work in a fast pace environment and keep up with multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work independently or in a group setting as needed to accomplish project and support work
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $111,900 - $186,500, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
