Full job description
The business analyst ensures that specialty pharmacy pharma reports are delivered to our internal and external data recipients on time and accuratelyThe business analyst will be on point to troubleshoot any client concerns to determine if it is an operational or reporting issue and act accordinglyThe business analyst is a data liaison between the client and accredo specialty pharmacy.
The business analyst assist in the launching of new data reports by completing contract reviews, mapping requirements, and ensuring developed reports are accurate in meeting the contract requirementsProductive relationships with our internal partners will be necessary for a successful product launch.
Build and maintain relationships with external clients and internal partners
Review and redline contracts to ensure alignment with hipaa guidance and the team’s reporting standards
Translate the contracted data requirements into a detailed mapping document for developer to create the report(s)
Troubleshoot any client concerns to determine if it is an operational or reporting issue and take the appropriate action
Audit reports, correct data errors and communicate findings with all levels of employees and management, including internal business units and external clients
Ensure quality reporting through a thorough knowledge and understanding of the report logic, analysis of discrepancies, and ability to determine root cause of issues
Thoroughly organize and document end to end process of the launch and any production support concerns
Participate in special projects with senior level or management oversight
2-5 years relevant experience or master’s degree
Strong customer service focus
Adaptability and eagerness to learn
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent documentation and organization
Must be a proven problem solver
Immaculate attention to detail with the ability to understand the bigger picture
Familiarity with health care or pharmaceutical industry very helpful
Follow policies and procedures to ensure audit and corporate compliance
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a high-demand environment
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and levels of employees to resolve complex issues
Works largely through self-directed effort or partnering with others; solid performance with minimal supervision
Preferred technical skills
User acceptance testing (uat) or data quality assurance (qa) experience
Oracle and teradata sql
This role is flex/wfh which allows most work to be performed at home or on occasion at a cigna office locationEmployees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $70,400 - $117,400, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
