Chemonics international seeks a change management senior specialist for the global operations and improvement team within the project development and support divisionThe change management senior specialist is responsible for leading change management efforts on priority corporate projects and initiativesThey will design and implement change management solutions including developing communication plans, assessing user needs and ensuring user adoption and readinessThey will develop and maintain corporate change management resources and provide advisory support to teams at different levels of the organizationThe change management senior specialist reports to the senior advisor of operational excellenceThe change management senior specialist may supervise specialists, associates or temporary staff on the global operations & improvement teamWe are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:

Leads change management efforts required by mission critical improvement projects or initiatives to ensure effective deployment and user adoption
Develops and implements change management solutions to support leaders and employees in the adoption of changes including stakeholder engagement, communications and training, using change management strategies, methodologies, tools and techniques
Tracks change outcomes, impacts to staff, and risks to project success including change resistance and identifies adjustments and solutions
Coordinates change management efforts with project managers in alignment with project workplans
Oversee after-action reviews and assessments around change management effectiveness for projects and initiatives
Provides support to learning and development teams to ensure training content is in alignment with user needs
Supports, consults and coaches other strategic and corporate initiative teams, including reviewing work plans, identifying key stakeholders, assessing change readiness, and developing communication plans
Designs and develops content and presents informational sessions and trainings to executives, management, staff and project teams on standard-practice change management methods and toolkits
Defines requirements for and supervises development of change management metrics and tools (e.g., powerbi) that monitor status and success of corporate change management projects and initiatives
Designs, develops and maintains corporate standards and resources for change management including tools and templates that support chemonics’ business needs
May supervise specialists, associates, coordinators or temporary staff who support change management efforts
Coordinates with teams on efforts and initiatives in continuous improvement, project management, and quality management
Participates in key roles on other corporate efforts and initiatives including proposal teams, practices and special projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
A minimum of five years of experience in change management, project management, organizational development, business process management and improvement, or related work experience required
Experience leading successful large-scale organizational change efforts using change management strategies, methodologies and tools to ensure effective deployment and user adoption
Able to develop and manage change management plans, applying flexible and adaptable approaches, while ensuring project goals and objectives are met
Experience in development and deployment of effective communications plans around change initiatives to a variety of audiences
Experience conducting after-action reviews and assessing change management effort effectiveness
Experience working with staff of all levels, experience working with a global workforce preferred
Able to assess the needs of global stakeholders and users
Experience in leading presentations, training courses, and meetings
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Knowledge of international development field or chemonics’ external and internal clients and their requirements preferred
Project management or change management certification preferred
Demonstrated leadership, versatility and integrity
Fluency in one or more foreign languages preferred

The salary range for this position is expected to be: $84,320 - $105,400.
An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
