Charter manufacturing is a fourth-generation family-owned business where our will to grow drives us to do it betterJoin the team and become part of our family! charter manufacturing`s corporate it team located in mequon, wi has an exciting opportunity for a devops engineer to join their devsecops teamThis role has a hybrid onsite/remote work schedule! looking for a driven and innovative software application developer to join our growing devops teamsYou will be a lead developer in a devops team that continuously delivers software solutions for various products across the organizationStrong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaboration with business product owners and devops team members solving complex problems togetherMinimum qualifications:
Five plus years’ development experience and overall knowledge of technical environments such as cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and databases.
Experience with agile methodologies and iterative deployments.
Hands-on technical ability combined with good communication skills and an interest in improving technology solutions.
Successful in fast-paced collaborative team environments.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mis, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
Seven plus years’ development experience and overall knowledge of technical environments such as cloud infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and databases.
Knowledge of several development languages such as .net, java, python, r, powershell
Familiarity with common database technologies, virtualization, and configuration management.
Experience with continuous integration methodologies and tools (such as azure devops).
Experience with kubernetes in a production environment
Master’s degree in computer science, master of business administration (mba) or related degree.
Major accountabilities:
Create, enhance, and support complex software solutions and help manage the infrastructure they run on to meet a wide variety of business needs.
Collaborate with the devops team and engage directly with business customers to solve complex problems or issues.
Use agile software development methodologies such as scrum to deliver results continuously while focusing on providing value to the customer.
Execute the entire product-life-cycle management from ideation through support.

Managing multiple demand streams and prioritizing across products.
Right-sizing governance and quality to maintain agile delivery capabilities while ensuring quality in delivered solutions and tools.
