Ciyis is seeking an industrial engineer to join our dynamic team! this position will provide leadership guidance within a team focused on process improvements and kaizen eventsUnder the general guidance of the project manager, the industrial engineer will review and analyze all documentation for accuracy, provide recommendations for correcting deficiencies/non-conformance, and ensuring a comprehensive analysis of a client`s facility.
Industrial engineer responsibilities:
Calculate machine and labor requirements, capacity, and inventory needs.
Conducts workflow studies and assists with planning for equipment layouts, workflow, and safety precautions in a medical facility.
Leads 5s application in the integrated design of a lean, shared service medical program.
Lead efforts for identifying pain points, analyzing costs and benefits, and suggesting improvements in customer supply chain networks.
Communicate solution approaches effectively to our stakeholders
Design and conduct data science experiments for the purpose of network optimization.
Create reusable playbooks & automated workflows for all our projects
Improve work cell design and process flow, utilize structured problem solving methodology to improve capacity constrained work areas.
Develop and maintain process maps, value stream maps, and standard work documents.
Learn and apply new concepts while keeping current with state of the art techniques.
Provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs to maximize efficiency of logistics, staffing and delivering products including internal and external sources.
Utilize factory simulations to perform “what if” scenarios, explore process bottlenecks and develop logistics strategies.
Establish critical control points in the value stream to ensure that products meet financial planning, quality standards, and customer demand rates.
Tracks and reports metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects.
Industrial engineer qualifications:
Bachelor`s (or higher) degree in engineering, or industrial related experience and a strong technical acumen.
6-9 years of experience with logistics processes from design engineering.
Working knowledge of engineering configuration management.
Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and planning skills.
Ability to work independently with demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
