Summary of position:
Ciee, the first and largest organization of its kind, seeks an experienced and growth-oriented sales professional to actively lead the post-pandemic reemergence of ciee college international exchange programs, the successful candidate will bring an impressive track record of success managing high growth sales in a complex and competitive environment; demonstrate strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a geographically dispersed team; and have proven the ability to contribute effectively as part of a strong management group focused on growth and expansion.
Lead the college sales teams to achieve annual sales goals and position ciee as the gold standard brand in the field of study abroad
Develop and operationalize sales strategies to drive growth with clear management reports and team guidance on sales strategies, annual sales targets, annual sales budgets, revenue forecasts, and enrollment targets, etc.
Establish foundational sales operating procedures and techniques, including a key accounts strategy, annual campus outreach, domestic and international key account sales and marketing meetings
Hire, train, and manage all sales staff with consistent and regular candid feedback on performance
Sustain and expand ciee’s commitment to increase access to study abroad for all students from all backgrounds, with concrete initiatives and measurable results
Reporting to senior vice president, global enrollment, the vice president will be responsible for two departments – institutional relations (sales and custom programs) and enrollment management (student support), to include hiring, training, supervising, developing and setting performance objectives for staff in each of these areas.
1) institutional relations
Provide effective leadership, leading, motivating and mentoring a team of institutional relations professionals located throughout the u.s.
Develop strategies and activities that advance the goals of member institutions in their efforts to internationalize
Advance ciee goals to enhance diversity in our institutional partnerships and participants.
Identify and implement strategic opportunities, programs, partnerships, etcConsistent with the company’s mission
Develop overall strategy for increasing ciee programs as “approved” programs at current and future member institutions
2) enrollment management
Provide effective leadership to a large and growing team of student support professionals
Develop and manage appropriate revenue and cost projections and budgets
Design and implement approaches that increase efficiency while improving outcomes
Develop the appropriate goals and dashboards to proactively monitor the overall progress and success of enrollment team activities
Ensure that student advising and pre-departure activities insure the preparedness and satisfaction of the students on program
Skills and experience:
Masters or ph.dPreferred
A minimum of 10 years of successful leadership in complex sales and marketing roles
