Cid is recruiting an experienced team leader | project manager + interior designer to join us! we are looking for someone who is excited to bring their leadership, curiosity, passion, and commitment to creating unique and authentic spaces that inspire through storytelling.
In this position, you will manage multiple small to mid-size projects from inception to completion/installation adhering to deadlines and communicating with team members, clients, and vendorsThe team leader | project manager + interior designer will also provide leadership and guidance to team members in the areas of project facilitation, mentoring, client interactions and career developmentIn this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects while maintaining the highest quality standards.

What you`ll do
Provide support to team members in meeting project objectives and client’s needs.
Assist the team to ensure projects meet cid’s quality standards.
Mentor team members in the areas of motivation, training needs, career development and overall guidance.
Participate in resource leveling and job planning.
Assist in managing the project health together with the studio leader and operations director, by continually monitoring project dashboard and scorecard.
Participate in team leader l10 meeting, report team leader data and support firm-wide initiatives.
Conduct team l10 meeting.
Participate in consultation with the client to establish project goals and objectives including, but not limited to: design intent, schedule and budget parameters.
Collaborate with team members throughout the project process maintaining clear and accurate communication to include assisting in the installation project timeline.
Develop job plan and assess resource needs for project completion.
Meet with ffe team to provide project overview, design concept and client expectations in a detailed mannerRegularly communicate with the ffe team to monitor installation project timeline and provide support in meeting deadlines.
Manage project budget regularly communicating status to the teamAdvise project team of any potential issues and make recommendations to resolve.
Review construction documents and specifications to ensure that the design intent is being compliant and maintain defined quality standards.
Participate in conducting client presentations and coordinate with all other design disciplines such as; civil, architectural, structural, landscape and mep.
Together with the design team, review quality of documentation and presentations ensuring quality standards established for the project are met.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or construction management
Minimum 8 years of experience within multi-family, commercial, or hospitality industries
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Proven project management experience.
Proficient in autocad and other industry-standard software.
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong articulate presentation skills with a command of design and construction vocabulary.
