Cha consulting, incIs currently seeking an environmental compliance scientist to join our environmental team based in new york stateYour impact: cha is uniquely qualified to assist any client with environmental servicesFrom initial site characterization through remediation, cha draws on the expertise of staff team members that possess considerable environmental site assessment and remediation experienceWe have been providing environmental consulting services for over 25 years, and we employ a team of approximately 100 scientists and engineers who keep abreast of current regulatory issues.
We provide our clients with detailed data and analysis and assist with managing environmental risk by providing recommendations and implementing process improvementsThis environmental compliance scientist role will have a specific focus on auditing hazardous waste storage, air permitting, hazcom and asbestos awareness training, and will interact with regulators on a routine basisIf you are a self-starter with a passion for environmental compliance and enjoy working in the field, apply to join cha’s team of scientists today!

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field required
Valid us driver`s license is required
Minimum of 3 years of related experience required
Experience with hazardous waste storage, air permitting, hazcom, and asbestos awareness
Experience with microsoft word & excel is required
Ability to physically navigate and work in the field in different weather conditions required
Some travel will be required (~30%)
Active role in a professional scientific or engineering society/organization preferred
