About the position:
National maintenance supervisor (nms) ensures that all cci maintenance staff are properly trained and related protocols are timely implemented and adhered to at all cci propertiesNms oversees the development of various maintenance technician protocols, procedures, and trainingNms contributes to and/or oversees a wide variety of special projects, including large and smaller-scale building systems replacement/rehabilitation, critical and non-critical repairs, and governmental inspection preparationNms trains and supervises national maintenance support technicians (nmst).
Applicant must have extensive working knowledge of building construction trades (including hvac, plumbing, elevator, electrical, mechanical, fire systems, roofing, and painting) and processes (including project management, budgeting, scope of work creation, vendor negotiations & contracts, ability to read architectural plans, remodeling & rehabilitation, o & m plans, quality control, and osha)Applicant must be able to demonstrate advanced skills in the following areas; leadership/supervision, ability to work independently, time management & organization, initiative, communication (both verbal & written), computer (including word, excel, and powerpoint), and training/teaching.
