Buybuy baby, one of the fastest growing retailers in the country, is seeking an associate, new stores & remodels to help meet the challenges of our aggressive expansion plansWe have laid the foundation to open 50 new stores over 3 years in addition to remodeling our existing fleet and the associate, new stores & remodels will help bring this to life!
The associate, new stores & remodels works cross functionally with a diverse group of stakeholders while managing the end-to-end process helping deliver the project and successfully transition a store from a project focus to being an operational and customer facing experienceThis includes managing timelines, training plans, and troubleshooting issues with stores and other hq departmentsThis individual will have the unique opportunity to work with numerous departments including, but not limited to: real estate, construction, marketing, store planning, visual and space merchandising & store operations.
Responsibilities
Assists in the planning and implementation of new store openings and remodels.
Influencing and working with regarding project details and deliverables.
Helps to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
Track daily processes and identify and resolve issues as needed.
Complete a postmortem upon completion of each project, evaluating successes and opportunities to develop best practices.
Conducts administrative duties such as setting up meetings, creating meeting material, and meeting debriefs.
Analyzes and shares data to help inform and influence decisions.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Leadership and people management

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail environment, operations, new stores, relocations, and remodels.
Experience using a cloud-based software platform for project management.
Proficient with microsoft office suite.
Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced and evolving environment while maintaining levels of efficiency, organization and attention to detail.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
Self-motivated and results oriented leader with strong interpersonal, communication, and partnering skills.
Attention to detail and follow-up with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams to foster relationship-building and collaboration.
Ability to effectively influence decision-making and/or change in the absence of direct management.
Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented.
Champion for change and able to react with speed and agility.
Flexible and creative problem-solver.
Personal professionalism, high level of confidence and sense of accountability.
