We consider our software engineers to be the heart of our teamWe are an agile development group consisting of teams of individual software engineers, working in a fast-paced environmentWe are embarking on a large migration and consolidation of multiple ecommerce and you will play a role in the execution, delivery, and maintenance of both the new and existing ecommerce sites as we migrate platformsAs a member of our ecommerce team, you will be responsible for developing features & functions as well as data integrations between ecommerce systems and organization platforms.
What are you going to do:
Adhere to industry best practices, to write well-designed, modular, performant, well tested code
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating and analyzing, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
Contribute to technical feasibility assessments done prior to starting development, as a way to help business gauge the viability and priority of product enhancements
Participate in code review sessions as part of a thorough, pci-compliant quality assurance process
Communicate clearly to various stakeholders, ensuring that problems are being addressed efficiently and business needs are being met in a timely and satisfactory fashion
Meet all quality and specification requirements by working closely with the qa team, end users, product managers, and project managers
What are you going to bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or an engineering disciplineEquivalent experience will be considered
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Ability to work in both an individual and team-based environment
Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
At least 5 years of professional java development experience
Recent experience working with java 8 and spring boot
Used rest controller in spring framework to create restful web services and json objects for communication
Proficiency in industry standard technologies, such as web services, json and xml
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Experience working in agile development teams and processes
Experience with sql, (nosql is a plus)
Experience using git/github for source control
Experience developing asynchronous processes and use of message queues a plus
Experience working in the cloud (aws, gcp, azure) a plus
Experience with supporting and/or implementing public-facing ecommerce websites a plus
Devops mindset, familiar with ci-cd concepts and tools
