Summary
The telesales manager will lead and oversee the telemarketing division in the selling of varibarResponsibilities include training the junior staff, setting sales targets, creating and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and handling customer complaintsIn addition, a successful telesales manager will own the varibar key opinion leader relationships and be able to create and implement a strategy of clinical outreach to the speech language pathology (slp) communityFinally, the telesales manager will work closely with the gi imaging product manager on the creation of new sales materials and activity planning at trade shows, providing input on field needs and coordinating scientific review for accuracy.
To ensure success as a telesales manager, you should have experience with telesales, advanced managerial skills, and the ability to multitaskA top-notch telesales manager provides strong guidance and assistance to the telesales team, ultimately boosting company sales.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Establishes sales goals and quotas for the telemarketing team.
Collaborates with product manager to develop sales materials for use by telemarketing team.
Writes sales scripts (as needed) and customer answer sheets.
Monitors and reviews phone calls to ensure quality service and compliance with applicable policies and best practices.
Measures team performance; communicates goals and quotas to team; and encourages and motivates telemarketers as they work toward reaching their goals and quotas.
Prepares and presents weekly and monthly sales reports to director of marketing and sales.
Resolves customer complaints and grievances.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory responsibilities
Hires and trains telemarketers.
Oversees the daily workflow and scheduling of telemarketing staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Education and/or experience required
Education and experience:
Ba/bs degree in a relative field required
Pharmaceutical background preferred.
Speech language pathology clinical experience preferred
At least three years of successful telemarketing experience required.
Certificates, licenses, registrations
