Your role the carrier customer success manager (csm) is the primary liaison between bold penguin and our carrier partnersAs a csm, you will partner closely with the president of insurance and liaison with our insurance carriers, developing relationships with them while improving the overall experience for carriers and agent partnersAdditionally, you will compile and analyze data based on those relationships and coordinate extensively with other teams internally to ensure maximum partner satisfaction.
What you`ll do ensure carrier needs are met through frequent interactions and fostering of carrier contact relationshipsRemove roadblocks in the carrier appointment process, participate in driving carrier growth strategies and initiatives to successful outcomesDirect appointment activation oversight and assist in sub-appointment setupNavigate carrier commission questions and discrepancies and drive them to resolutionManage sub-appointment performance and simplify for both carriers and agentsPerform carrier trainingE.g.: educate carriers on bold penguin solutions and value and, conversely, work with partners to keep carrier education materials current and consumable for bold penguin colleaguesDevelop and manage agent-carrier compliance processes (e.g.: ensure subscription changes are reflected in bold penguin and carrier systems.) recommend and implement ongoing improvements to increase carrier partner growth, including agency distribution strategyThink creatively and innovative about ways to improve the overall business in a collaborative environmentWork with leadership to develop specific quarterly goals with defined commitments aimed at reaching carrier partners’ mutual annual goals.
Skills and qualifications minimum of 2 years of account management and insurance carrier experienceCommercial insurance experience is a plus! experience with the independent agent distribution model is preferredPossess a supportive and responsive manner to internal and external customersBachelor’s degree preferredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExceptional attention to detail, time management, and responsivenessEffective verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for making operational and process suggestionsExcellent ability to organize information and document processesSelf-motivated, action and results-orientedSolid analytical skills and financial aptitudeAbility to use google suite, crm tools, powerpoint and excel.
