As a global equity administrator you will report to the srManager, global equity and work closely and effectively with teams across bird to develop and communicate equity compensation programs for top-tier talent and assist with day to day management of our equity compensation planYou will be a trusted resource and relied upon to administer equity based programsYou are a well-rounded equity professional focused on strong customer service, commitment to accuracy, and high quality work.
Manage the day-to-day administration of equity compensation programs
Process all activity including grants, exercises and share issuances in compliance with current regulations
Maintain pending grant lists and support preparation of board materials on an as-needed basis
Perform monthly and annual activity reconciliations
Ensure capitalization table is complete and accurate
Prepare summary reports and perform forecast modeling scenarios for shares available, participant vesting, etc.
Respond to participant questions on a timely basis
Develop and support an incredible participant experience including creating and presenting slides, addressing participant inquiries, creating educational materials, and maintaining our internal equity site
Partner with finance, legal, and hr teams to address equity compensation matters
Develop new processes and workflows to streamline and scale
3+ years of equity experience at a fast growing company, preferably in both the private and public sector
Advanced excel, word, powerpoint skills ability to pivot between equity administration, participant equity education, global equity compliance and equity taxation
Experience with carta and fidelity or ability to learn new systems quickly
Familiarity with global compliance and tax mobility
Certified equity professional (cep) designation
