Full job description
Responsible for overseeing selected grocery retailer headquarter accounts across the country including all aspects of delivering the ultimate customer service and profitability of the company.
Some of these include but are not limited to- selected kroger divisions, wegmans, hannaford (delhaize), giant, stop & shop, ahold, bi-lo, winn-dixie, weis, meijer.
Organizational alignment – reports directly to the national sales manager with close working relation to marketing and logistics teamAchieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within assigned territory by effectively supporting the brand building and marketing efforts, which sell the company’s products and advantages.
Oversee daily sales activity, meets with major retailers, analyzes iri and nielsen data to present in category reviews, designs new and more effective sales strategies and presentations, along with marketing and promoting company products and services.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Developing, implementing, and modifying strategic business, marketing, sales, and promotional plans as it relates to the specific channel of business.
Partnering with brand and trade marketing teams to negotiate volume/spend and individual/team targets.
Forging strong, long-term relationships and penetrating key accounts to the vp/president/ceo level.

Networks with prospective retailers to persuade them to drive sales with our brand as they consider price, placement, promotions and products
Aggressively pursue and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales growth targets.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast targets.
Build long lasting partnerships with customers to achieve overall goals and objectives.
Perform post audit analysis on all promotions to see if spend and volume target are met and look for ways to improve.
Provide accurate recommendations with regards to product assortment, promotional price points along with frequency and depth of while keeping the company’s goals and objective in mind.
Goal oriented team player who leads by example and works closely with all departments within the organization including but not limiting to sales, marketing, finance/accounting, logistics, etc.
Participates in-house discussions to help improve the effectiveness and productivity of the brand.
Works with the dsm’s and field reps to provide perspective in the market seen through others
Takes active role in monthly meetings both via skype and at corporate hqt, while giving clear insight on the business at hand.
Assists in designing marketing and promotional materials both in print and ecommerce for promotional events
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have experience working with kroger and adusa
Sales experience in a cpg environment
3 – 5 years’ sales experience with specific customer accounts
Well organized with ability to work both independently and within team environment
