Description:
The assistant inventory management position will be responsible for assisting in the overall inventory replenishment and markdown management of the store remodel program as well as other inventory management projectsResponsibilities also include assisting in the overall management and coordination of project milestones with a cross functional team to ensure critical path items are completed by the required timelines, managing budgets, and assisting in balancing inventory to ensure the best in stock position possible.
Key areas of responsibility:
Create and manage project timelines and provide updates as required
Provide general support for various projects
Monitor project status and notify key stakeholder and leadership of delays or roadblocks
Research and troubleshoot issues for resolution
Analyze and evaluate report documentation
Produce weekly reporting analytical reporting, advanced excel skills a plus
Key qualifications:
Build partnership with key stakeholders to improve current processes and procedures
Strong follow through skills
Dedication to achieving deadlines
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent communication skills: ability to multi-task and work independently
Very strong organizational skills are a must
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of retail experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Proficient microsoft office
Advance knowledge of excel a plus
