Bazaarvoice is looking for a sales operations manager to serve as a strategic business partner to top-line sales leadershipIn this role, you`ll be a key partner to revenue leadership and leverage a mixture of strategic and execution skills to support our sales leadership team in driving our go-to-market objectives and optimizing frontline sales people’s ability to sellAs a sales operations manager, you`ll partner with revenue leadership teams to uncover business needs, provide operation expertise and drive their outcomes in partnership with revenue operations, systems, and enablement teamsYou`ll use quantitative data, feedback from the floor, and a deep understanding of our corporate initiatives and internal workflows to drive positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic initiatives to improve the scalability, agility, and efficiency of the bazaarvoice revenue operating model in its ability to identify, design, deliver, and improve solutions to our customers` business problems
Proactively drive continuous improvement via process and tools optimization, process, or development of new process/policies that will drive sales productivity and scale as the organization grows
Partner and network with the insights & data team to identify trends in the business and drive the dialogue, storytelling, and recommended plans of action with our revenue leaders
Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
Complete qualitative and quantitative analysis as required to identify root cause deficiencies in the operating model or to track the effectiveness of improvements
Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new sales automation tools to implement
Own portfolio of sales tools & technologies; responsible for crafting a short-and-long term vision of how to optimize and add to the tools portfolio in order to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness
Coordinate with global enablement to define and deliver training to facilitate the adoption of new field processes resulting from business operations initiatives
Evaluate complicated, cross-functional objectives by developing frameworks to assess trade-offs, leveraging data to ensure balanced decision-making and development of cohesive go-to-market strategy.
Drive creation of operating models including cross-functional roles and responsibilities and engagement guidelines (i.e., generalist versus specialist, existing sales team versus new sales team, etc).
Conduct scoping of projects with stakeholders to understand business requirements, level of effort, owners, and timelines
Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team
About you:
6+ years of related experience such as in sales operations, business operations, or other operations experience with demonstrated success in process improvement
Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others required and/or previous people management experienceLoves to help make others successful
History of building repeatable processes, dealing with ambiguity, etc(consulting background a plus)
Strong project management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
Ability to frame business problems and communicate insights with a bias towards action
Passionate for designing and constantly improving sales processes
Strong organizational skills and process orientation
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently & in a team environment
Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and a drive to excel.
