Full job description
Barchart has a need for a savvy individual who deeply understands agribusinesses and grain buying workflows to oversee ecosystem development for our enterprise ag offeringsThis unique professional will be the voice of our products and services, will be seen as a thought leader, and can evangelize barchart services to our partners.
You are the glue that binds sales, product, gtm, and marketing for barchart`s agriculture offering.
Build deep relationships with key executives and decision makers at agribusinesses
Consistently attend conferences and trade shows - you are our product “evangelist”
Develop and oversee reseller partnerships in our ecosystem to accelerate our sales trajectory
Build and manage a consistent event program that meets clients where they areIdentify partners for content, drive attendance, and generate opportunities for sales
Collaborate deeply with sales & gtm to drive effective campaigns to existing clients
Understand our product roadmap and assist with prioritization / requirement building
Maintain an executive presence both internally and externally
Successful candidates for this position will have a passion for agriculture, experience working within the grain buying value chain, and a vision for how technology can improve these workflowsYou also need to be excited about building something great.
You will be integral to informing our product and gtm strategy, and will work closely with the ceo, cso, head of commodity sales, and head of marketingAs a leader within barchart, you will be counted on to have a significant impact from day one.
The role is remote or hybrid, and travel is requiredBarchart’s main office is in chicago, with an additional commodity focused office in des moinesLocal applicants are welcome.
Build the business development organization for barchart’s commodity products and services
Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to generate awareness and drive top-of-funnel user acquisition
Develop strong relationships with our clients to understand what will drive growth for their businessAdvocate for the client internally.
Partner with other organization leaders to continuously evaluate our roadmap and prioritize the initiatives with the highest return
