Bjmc global is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business specializing in general management consulting services and facilities support servicesOver the past 2 decades, we’ve designed, managed, and delivered complex, challenging projects throughout the world, including in post-disaster environments, in active war zones, and in some of the world’s most remote and austere locations.
Bjmc global is currently seeking an experienced and qualified mechanical engineers, senior mechanical engineers, and principal mechanical engineers to support our team working on a department of energy (doe) project in the united statesWe`re looking for engineers who can overcome challenges and complete projects in any environmentThis role will work closely with our engineering team and must have a working knowledge of federal (including doe), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical engineer - plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects through project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to p&id developmentDemonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specificationsFamiliarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Senior mechanical engineer - conduct construction document reviews as requiredPlan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to p&id developmentDemonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specificationsFamiliarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Principal mechanical engineer - provide technical direction to assigned engineersConduct construction document reviews as requiredPlan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to p&id developmentDemonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specificationsFamiliarity with computer aided drafting applications is required.
Qualifications:
Process/mechanical engineer - must be u.sCitizenBachelor of science in chemical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 5 or more years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Senior process/mechanical engineer - must be u.sCitizenBachelor of science in chemical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineeringProfessional engineer license preferred but not required.
Principal process/mechanical engineer - must be u.sCitizenBachelor of science in chemical or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineeringProfessional engineer license preferred but not required
Position requirements:
- must be good team players and able to work well with others in pursuit of accomplishing program objectives.
- must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- professional licenses and certifications are a plus.
- candidate (remote workers) must be willing to attend initial training period at field office and comply with monthly or bimonthly field office visits, if necessary.
