We are looking for full-stack .net application developer for our bRiley securities business line to work remotelyOur environment consists of vendor applications, data feeds, and internally developed custom applications and databases for workflows, analytics, and reporting for our investment banking, capital markets, sales, research, trading, compliance, and operations areasYou will take technical leadership for supporting and building out some of these applications, and as you grow you will take a lead role in managing vendors.
Required skills and expertise:
Hands-on application development and full sdlc experience in a corporate setting.
Microsoft asp.net core / c#, strong background in linq queries and ef core.
Microsoft sql server
Experience with web service integration (rest, soap)
Familiar with responsive web design frameworks like bootstrap
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possess project ownership mindsetAssume control on each project designated to liaise with upstream and downstream systemCoordinate project planning, development, front-to-back testing, and deployment.
Ability to adapt to the fast-changing environment.
Ability to analyze current state of project requirement, perform basic gap analysis in a diverse system environment.
Ability to communicate with users and support their front-end application needs.
Education, experience and additional skills that would be a plus:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
At least five (5) years experience in programming software product and development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
