Full job description
Our process control engineer works on projects like developing and executing complex process control system integration
On a typical day you will:
Develop and implement aveva (wonderware) hmi applications
Create of application documentation and testing protocols
Assist in technical issues troubleshooting related to the delivery of projects
Assist in proposal processes with project management and sales
Participate in client technical meetings
Onsite start-up and commissioning of applications and systems
Defining new solutions and improvements to existing systems and applications
Ideal candidate will have engineering experience (electrical/mechanical/chemical preferred) and at least five+ years of experience in the process control industry.
Required skills
Implementation experience with aveva system platform, inbatch, and aveva historian
Experience with on-site commissioning including loops checks, vfd startup, and control system testing
Implementation and troubleshooting experience with allen-bradley plc development (controllogix and compactlogix)
Experience developing scada systems using aveva system platform and citect scada.
The ideal candidate skills:
Bs degree in engineering
A controls/automation engineer, with a minimum 5+ years of overall experience in process control / automation
Experience in system integration is a plus
Experience with technical management of projects and execution
Experience with sql databases management, reporting services
Experience with visual studio application management, git repositories
Experience with control networking and communication protocols
